One last walk with Fairmont
acrylic on canvas 11x14 This painting was done as an anniversary present for my wife. It's of us walking our dog Fairmont through Soho. Fairmont had passed away several weeks before I finished this painting. At the time I was torn as to which dog to paint Fairmont, or our new dog Zephyr. So, I painted the dog to look like Fairmont, but he's holding his tail up the way Zephyr does.
